Romeo and Juliet

Two movies that I have seen in the past month that I loved and, of course, are about Love. Young Victoria and Letters to Juliet. Both are fantastic stories of love and how it doesn't always come as you had dreamed it would.  I also, of course, would love to pay tribute to the fantastic Pride and Prejudice and Phantom of the Opera, both of which are also fantastic love stories and are appropriate for any audience, as long as you can sit through 3 hours worth of movie.
Young Victoria:
A dramatization of the turbulent first years of Queen Victoria's rule, and her enduring romance with Prince Albert. A love that doesn't die is always worth seeing a movie about.

Letters to Juliet:
An American girl on vacation in Italy finds an unanswered "letter to Juliet" -- one of thousands of missives left at the fictional lover's Verona courtyard, which are typically answered by the "secretaries of Juliet" -- and she goes on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter.
